This month’s spotlight recipe comes straight from our Featured Chef, Clementina Nicolasa Garcia of Chicago! Her Key Lime Margarita Pie is the ultimate summer treat—zesty, creamy, and unbelievably easy to make. Best of all, there’s no alcohol—just that bold citrus flavor you love and a salty-sweet pretzel crust that makes it irresistible.

Whether you're celebrating a belated Cinco de Mayo, hosting a summer cookout, or planning a laid-back family dinner, this pie is sure to steal the show.

Ingredients

  • 1-1/4 cups finely crushed pretzels
  • 1/4 cup sugar
  • 6 tbsp butter, melted
  • 1 can (14 oz.) sweetened condensed milk
  • 1/2 cup lime juice
  • 1 envelope (0.13 oz.) KOOL-AID Lemon-Lime Flavor Unsweetened Drink Mix
  • 1 tub (8 oz.) COOL WHIP Whipped Topping, thawed and divided

Instructions

  1. Combine pretzel crumbs, sugar, and melted butter. Press into the bottom and sides of a 9-inch pie plate. Refrigerate while you prepare the filling.
  2. In a large bowl, whisk the condensed milk, lime juice, and drink mix until blended. Stir in 2-1/2 cups of COOL WHIP.
  3. Pour mixture into crust and freeze for at least 6 hours or until firm.
  4. Let stand at room temperature for 15 minutes before serving. Top with remaining COOL WHIP.
